Nation's Capital Brings Home the Stash

Whew! What a month we had on Streak. Just crazy it always comes down to the last few props to decide whether somebody walks away with the Stash or not. October 2104 was no exception to the norm either after 35 different entries managed a W20 or better. In the final 24 hours, we still had several entries clawing toward the top of the leaderboard. The final prop of the 30th saw a W24, W23 and a W22 fall when the Clippers couldn't defeat the injury-plagued Thunder by 10+ points. That left a lone W24 to try and tackle the Stash. Twice our W24 had a prop selected, and twice they backed off the prop. Great choice, as both of their selections would've lost. The time to pick came when the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf showed up. Rebecca R. of Washington, D.C. took the winner of the race to come from Post Position 1-5. It was a stress-free race as the 1-5 horses controlled the race the whole way with No. 4 Lady Eli taking the win and handing Rebecca a W25 and $40,000. Should be noted 13 of her 25 wins were soccer picks (typically the hardest to win).

Also, congratulations Rob S. of Syracuse, NY whose 130 wins earned him $10,000 via the first tiebreaker (highest win %) over one other entry. Since the Stash was reached it will reset in November and be worth $20,000, meaning if you play Streak this month you can win up to $40,000 (stash+monthly)! And be sure to mark your calendar for the NCAA basketball "Tip-Off Marathon" Stunt for $10,000 on Nov. 18. Good luck and thanks for playing!
