August sees the Stash fall!
It was a tense finish down the stretch for the Streak Stash, but after 7 months and 31 days, the Stash was won. Damrong P. (B.I.G.G.Y) from Boston, MA grabbed the pot when Andy Roddick lost his 12th game in his U.S. Open 1st Round match Wednesday night to finish with a W27. The charging competition (Edgar Entry) fell out of the race just prior to the clinching prop when the Red Sox Jacoby Ellsbury blasted the 2nd home run of his selected prop in the 6th inning. Our Stash winner began the night needing at least 2 wins to claim the grand prize and got it started when Josh Beckett struck out Curtis Granderson in the 1st inning. In an impressive feat, our winner had 14 of his 27 wins come from the always unpredictable soccer games (serious guts on their part).

On the Most Wins side, 29-year old J. Myers from Seneca, MO went back-to-back when he totaled an impressive 103 wins (103-52-1 .665%) good for $2,500. Myers was also our Most Wins victor in the month of July.

Since the Stash was reached in August, the stash starts over. This means if W27 is reached in September, the winner will take home $100,000! Are you ready for some football?
